  Division of Advanced Electronics and Optical Science, Department of Systems Innovation,

  Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University

 

3. Research fields:

  Advanced Quantum Devices and Electronics, including quantum algorithms, quantum information processing, and quantum measurement and sensing.

 

4. Qualifications:

 (1) Applicants must have a Ph. D. or doctoral degree.

 (2) Applicants must have an excellent research record in the field of quantum electronics.

 (3) Applicants must have Japanese language ability to teach graduate students in the division
   and undergraduate students in Department of Electronics and Materials Physics and
   Electronics Course.


5. Start date:

  No later than 1 April 2019

 (1) Term of Employment:  No Fixed Term

 (2) Employment: Discretionary Labor System, Special Work Type based on the “Regulations
  Pertaining to Working Hours, Holidays and Leave for National University Corporation Osaka
  University Staff.”

  (4) List of approved competitive research grants (specify applicant’s role)

  (6) Outline of past research (2 pages in A4 format)

  (7) Outline of prospective research (approximately 1 page in A4 format)

  (8) Outline of educational plan (approximately 1 page in A4 format)

  (9) Name and address of more than two researchers (preferably in more than two countries)
    to whom one can inquire about applicant

  (10) Other information such as external evaluation report and the number of Ph. D. students
    the applicant has substantially supervised and their careers (specify academic or industry)
